INNOVATION

Have you been tasked with a complicated, high-risk maintenance project? It is our clients who provide the concepts to build these robotic systems. They identify the hazards of their remediation or maintenance projects and want to find ways to reduce the risk exposure for their personnel and the environment. They also want to maintain or increase quality and efficiency.

An example of this collaboration was a project involving blasting and painting the inside of a silo/tank. It was identified by the asset maintenance contractor to involve a combination of very high-risk factors such as confined space operations, rope access, exposure to high quantities of atmospheric hazards, operations of high-pressure blasting systems, extremely high noise environment and extremely high levels of physical fatigue on personnel. Upon further investigation, our expert team with the support of the client concluded that implementing a robotic system would decrease human exposure and increase efficiency and quality.

There are many applications where robotic systems can benefit our clients’ complicated, high-risk maintenance projects. Contact us to see how robotic solutions can be designed for your upcoming maintenance project to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
